On January 30th, North of Liberty screens for the second time in Comalapa at Kamin, a cultural center and modern art museum. “Kamin” best translates from Kaqchikel to English as “today.” Kamin is located on the corner of 2da Avenida and 5ta Calle, zona 3 in Comalapa’a urbanized town center. Dinner will be available for purchase at 6:30pm and the film will screen promptly at 7pm. Don't miss the first ever theatrical dramatization of Liberty’s most quintessential moment: star gazing and campfire pontificating in Grand Teton National Forest, Wyoming. All proceeds from this event will go to supporting art and creative expression in a rural, indigenous Guatemalan community. For more info about Comalapa, check out Que Pasa's article here.
